What is a debtors education certificate and why do I need one?

Debtors Education is required by the Bankruptcy Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 to get a discharge in bankruptcy, which is the goal of this process. You will need to take a one-hour financial management class and provide that certificate to the court to get your discharge.
